Gracias 34: Thank You Big Papi
For David Ortiz’s final season, the Boston Red Sox ran 34 x 34: 34 #ThanksPapi billboards around Boston, each designed by a different artist. T/A Martin Studio was one of the 34.
The concept is his career. Nineteen seasons in the majors become nineteen typefaces, one for each year, overlaid into a single 34: every season has its own character, and together they make one journey. The companion piece spells PAPI behind him on the walk off, with GRACIAS across it, in square and billboard formats.
Organizer + art director: Marissa McClain, Boston Red Sox.

DRL
Drone Racing League Key Art
The studio was hired by The Drone Racing League in NYC to conceptualize initial key art for the company's drone racing season. Each race is known as a level; the key art, referred to as Level Identities, sets the tone for the visual look and feel of the upcoming season and to be used as title cards in broadcast graphics, on the website and in digital marketing and social media.
The following concepts were created as part of the initial pitch to the Design Director and Executive Team which included T/A Martin Studio's concepts as well as in-house concepts.
Creative direction: DRL in-house marketing team.
