Chelsea FC & Premier League in the USA

Objective + Results

Working with Gilt Edge Soccer Marketing, T/A Martin Studio created social campaigns aimed at growing English football’s American audience.

Chelsea Mic’d Up was the club’s official US podcast. Rather than a single announcement, the launch rolled out as a sequence of host cards built from one kit: a portrait knocked out over Chelsea blue, torn yellow panels, hand-drawn script for the personal line and a heavy condensed surname. Each card says who the host is and where they come from, so the show reads as people rather than a logo. The same kit also covered a Meet the Hosts card and in-feed video.

On MLB Opening Day, Premier League’s USA socials ran some of the league’s most notable stars as Backyard Baseball cards, a nod to the classic computer game: nicknames instead of positions, a short scouting note, four skill ratings and one question for fans, would you pick him for your team?
