Player Illustrations and Emoji for the PGA TOUR

Objective + Results

For the PGA TOUR, T/A Martin Studio drew a set of player stickers for social and a custom emoji keyboard. Each sticker is built around one thing the player is known for: Patrick Reed’s finger to the lips, Ben Crane’s arms in the air, Danny Lee’s phone, Emiliano Grillo’s catch, Harold Varner III’s champagne and Wesley Bryan’s taco. A sticker has to survive as a thumbnail in a reply, so each likeness comes from the fewest possible shapes.

The emoji keyboard turns the ball itself into the face: nineteen expressions, from heart eyes to the shush, plus a Patrick Reed Masters version in the green jacket.
